Red Sea Hospitality Pioneers

Overview

Red Sea Global (RSG), in collaboration with the University of Tabuk’s College of Hospitality & Tourism in Al Wajh, is proud to announce the second edition of The Red Sea Hospitality Pioneers program.

This transformative program aims to train and employ local talent in the tourism and hospitality sector. The program will last for two years and six months, after which talents will obtain an intermediate diploma from the University of Tabuk, accredited by world renowned Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Objectives & Requirements

This program is designed to prepare students for future jobs by providing a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. Upon successful completion, Red Sea Global and its partners will provide job opportunities for the graduates.

Provide young Saudis with necessary knowledge and skills for future jobs.
Qualify local talents for the workplace.
Involve young Saudis in the development of our destinations.
Enable young Saudis to lead KSA’s future of tourism and related sectors.
Promote programs that correspond with RSG's operational needs.

Diploma in Hospitality Management

TABUK UNIVERSITY (FACULTY OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY) – ALWAJH

Students will gain knowledge and skills to help them succeed with careers and luxury hospitality services covering all aspects from sale and customer services to using policies and procedures to ensure proper and smooth operations.

Diploma in Food and Beverage Management

TABUK UNIVERSITY (FACULTY OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY) – ALWAJH

Students will learn a range of operational skills including purchasing ingredients and developing menus and preparing, presenting and serving food and beverages.

Terms and conditions

Applicants must:

•   Be Saudi national.
•   Provide a medical certificate indicating that they are physically and mentally fit to work in the hospitality field.
•   Hold a high school diploma (as a full-time regular student) or its equivalent from either within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad.
•   Register as a full-time student.
•   Not be accepted into another program or diploma, whether at the University of Tabuk or any other university.
•   Submit all required documents during the registration phase.
•   Ensure that all information provided in the application is accurate and complete.
•   Work at Red Sea Destination upon successful graduation.

How to apply

Select your preferred track

Applicants will have the option to select one of the two tracks (Diploma in Hospitality Management or Diploma in Food and Beverage Management). University of Tabuk and Red Sea Global will place the applicants according to the selected preference and availability.

Send required documents

Enter the program information page and submit a new application on Tabuk University’s electronic admission portal. All required documents must be uploaded as requested. Applications missing any required documents will not be considered.

Interviews

Successful application is determined competitively according to the complex admission criteria and according to the order of desires, the available seats. All interviews will be conducted face to face in Al Wajh. Further details will be shared once candidates are selected.

Acceptance to the program

The applicant must follow the online portal to see the result of the nomination and the initial and final acceptance.

Applicants must:

The program covers the following:

• Students will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the program.
• Graduates will receive an accredited certificate from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
• Internship with Red Sea Global or one of its partners.
• Employment at the Red Sea destination or one of its partners and operators.
• The applicant must not have graduated from high school more than (5) years ago.
• The applicant's age must not exceed (25) years when enrolling to the program.
• The passing score for the achievement test and cognitive ability test must be (50%) or higher.
• The applicant must sign a commitment letter issued by Red Sea Global and agree to work in any of RSG’s projects or its partners for a period of not less than 3 years from the date of graduation.
Your role will be identified based on the track you choose and the operator you work with after graduation. However, all students can expect to start their career with entry-level jobs upon graduation.
The program begins on 18 August, 2024 corresponding to 14 Safar, 1446h.

The application process will open from 4 August to 6 August, 2024.
All students during the English language and Vocational Training phases of the program will receive a monthly stipend.
This program is designed for high school graduates. However, qualified applicants who have higher degrees and wish to join the program are welcome to apply. If you have any inquiries, please send them through the University of Tabuk website www.ut.edu.sa
