Red Sea Global opens registration for fifth edition of Vocational Training Program
- More than 1,500 young Saudis have benefited from the program to date, with many now employed across RSG’s destinations
Riyadh, July 10, 2025 – Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has opened registration for the fifth edition of its Vocational Training Program, delivered in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). The program reflects RSG’s ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent and empowering Saudi youth to build meaningful careers in tourism and hospitality.
Registration runs from 10 to 16 July 2025, and is open to young Saudis from across the Kingdom. The 28-month program includes intensive English language training, technical and vocational courses, and practical on-the-job experience at RSG’s destinations or with its partners.
This year’s edition offers six specialized tracks: Health and Wellness Tourism Operations; Rooms Operations; Food and Beverage Services; Culinary Art; Electrical Services; and Mechanical Services. These areas are vital to operations across RSG’s resorts and provide a clear path to employment after graduation.
The launch of this latest edition builds on the success of previous editions. To date, more than 1,500 students have enrolled in the program. More than 650 graduates are now employed at RSG’s destinations, with a further 466 set to join in the coming months — bringing the total number of program alumni working across RSG properties to over 1,000.
First launched in 2021, the program was created in collaboration with leading academic institutions in the Kingdom. The third cohort saw women make up over half of all participants, while 35% of students came from local communities. It also recorded one of the lowest dropout rates compared to similar training programs in the Kingdom.
"The success of this program reflects our belief in the potential of Saudi youth to drive the tourism sector forward. We’re not only offering training, we’re creating real pathways into one of the world’s fastest-growing industries,"
The developer’s Vocational Training Program is the first of its kind among Saudi Arabia’s major developments to commit to providing every graduate with a direct job opportunity or clear career path. Participants also benefit from academic guidance, enrichment courses, and career-readiness support, including interview preparation and CV writing workshops.
