Red Sea Global Celebrates the Graduation of the Third Batch from its Flagship Vocational Training Program

Jeddah, 27 June 2025 – Red Sea Global (RSG), the world's leading regenerative tourism developer, celebrated the graduation of the third batch of students from The Red Sea Vocational Training Program. The ceremony was held at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, On behalf of Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, the ceremony was honored by Prince Saud bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah , along with several RSG leaders, representatives from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), officials from partner entities, and graduates' families.
This batch comprised 466 graduates who joined the program in 2023 and successfully completed their educational tracks in tourism security, information technology, and hospitality. More than half of the graduates are women. Graduates received a diploma degree after completing 28 months of training, which included four months of English language, 18 months of vocational training, and six months of practical training at the company's destinations.
The program launched in 2021 in collaboration with HRDF, as one of the strategic initiatives to empower national capabilities and qualify them to lead the future of tourism in the Kingdom, thereby enhancing Saudi Vision 2030's objectives in localization and human capital development.
Darwish added: "The Vocational Training Program is one of the cornerstones of our commitment to qualification and effective employment, with over 650 program graduates currently working at our destinations. It is also the first program of its kind among Saudi Arabia's giga-projects to fulfill its pledge to employ all its graduates, whether within the company or through our partners and destination operators."
For his part, Turki Aljawini, Director General at the HRDF, said: "We are proud of this exemplary partnership with Red Sea Global, which marks a significant milestone in linking training with employment. What we witness today is a living embodiment of the Kingdom's vision to empower young Saudis and qualify them to lead promising sectors such as tourism and hospitality."
During the ceremony, a new agreement was signed between RSG and HRDF to launch the fourth edition of the program, which aims to train 1,000 students across four specialized tracks: hospitality, technical services, tourism security, and curative tourism. Successful trainees will receive a diploma degree, with priority for employment in the company's projects and with its partners.
The agreement also stipulates enhanced cooperation in knowledge exchange, performance standard development, and the innovation of joint success metrics, in addition to supporting the production of content highlighting responsible tourism and sustainability stories.
The Red Sea destination began welcoming visitors in 2023 and currently features five luxury resorts and the Red Sea International Airport, strategically located to connect the destination with 250 million people within a 3-hour flight, and 85% of the world's population within eight hours.
The company is preparing to complete Phase One of the destination. Upon full completion it will include 50 resorts, offering approximately 8,000 hotel rooms and over 1,000 residential properties spread across 22 islands and six inland sites, in addition to luxury marinas, golf courses, and various entertainment and fine dining facilities.
